Been wrestling with this one, but I think it’s time to let it go! Did a happy 640km on this over the last few summers and it’s capable on and off road. Always thought it was a couple of centimetres too large for me though.

Selling as frame and fork - most parts will swap onto another Roberts frame I have here. Happy to talk to any buyer over some parts (stem, bars etc). Headset included (Campag) as will be a seat binder bolt.

Left it built for pictures as I think that’s better to understand the geometry. Will strip down quickly for any buyer, postage possible.

I reckon this is a pretty fashionable frame design right now, see Crust bikes etc.

26” wheel, all the braze-ons you’d want (3rd set of bottle bosses under downtube, rack mounts, pump pegs on chainstay), 1” headtube, 27.2 seatpost (tbc, might be 27.0), 531 designer select tubes… lovely glittery dark blue paint. Decals worn on downtube, a few scratches, no rust to speak of, I built this up and threads are good.

Seat c-t 61cm, c-c 59cm
Top tube 59cm c-c
Headtube 175mm
17” chainstays
Bottom bracket height 10”, so fairly low and stable
Saddle height in pictures 75cm over bb
Angles (iPhone) are 72 degrees, so nice and slack

£325 collected, postage on top if needed. Ppg, UK. Frame and fork and headset - ONly

Photos to follow.

Edit : it’s on 1.8” tyres.

Perfect, and a great price. I never realised you were that tall though Mat!
I’m not… 5”11 (and a bit) which is why ideally this would be 2-3 cm smaller. Low bottom bracket means the stand over is manageable though. Seems to be a set of Radavist-influenced gravel riders who love this set up. I grew up on sloping top tubes MTB though!!

Found a mention in a brochure I have from 1998 :
