RM Sherpa info???

Re:

I have one, mine came with a tange strut fork. It is either a '95 or a '96 but I can't remember the exact year I got it.

Re:

Seems expensive for that level of Rocky Mountain. I saw Rocky Mountain Blizzards and Equipes on UsedVictoria and at Bicycleitis for $250-$500 over the past couple years.

Re:

Sherpa is the bottom of the range bike, brought back in to bring the name back and lower the bottom end of the range. Cardiac was a other one.

Thanks folks. Appreciate the replies. Had it in my head it was on the upper end of the line. Must be thinking of something else. :? Bit by retro bug and keeping an eye out for one of those "finds"

Re:

I didn't appreciate they made the Sherpa that late. I've seen some earlish Sherpas from the mid 80's that were lugged and came with bullmoose bars and early Deore mechs. There was one on Vancouver CraigsList recently in pretty rough shape. I thought the Sherpa name was transferred onto a touring bike frame later on?

If that's around the level of a Cardiac I'd stay away for that price. Heck I'd stay away period.
