If anyone is curious about the Ritchey pedals they're brilliant

I have a set of these on both of my bikes, one set I've been riding on for 18 years and they still haven't worn out!

Ritchey do their own cleats but they are almost identical to Shimano SPD and I can't tell the difference when using the Ritchey or Shimano cleats.

Maintenance is a cinch, spay the springs with GT85 every week, and once a month undo the large hex cap on the end of the pedals and fill the cap with grease. Screwing the cap back in forces the grease through the bearings and the old grease splurges out of the seal on the inner spindle, wipe off the old grease and you're good to go.

If you just need to nip somewhere on your bike without cycling shoes these pedals are perfectly rideable.
