Ritchey 40th anniversary frames

Tom Ritchey is 40 years in the trade and as a celebration he will offer 40 special anniversary frames handmade by the man himself. Not modern but new classic frames built from vintage tubing: P-20 or Everest in special 40th anniversary livery. The first 4 frames to be auctioned at NAHABS starting bid 3500$ and the remaining 36 sold later for 2500$ apiece.

Wonder how they plan to organise that?

Exactly; so called 'limited editions' (usually in much greater numbers) of anything else you care to mention go for comparably far more...

...there are only going to be 40 of these, all hand-made by the man himself; I would if I had the cash
