RIP my top right molar

Yep, I'm an NHS Consultant in Restorative Dentistry so implants are my thing (which I do on the NHS)

you only need two implants to support a lower denture due to the bone density in the mandible............. PM me if you have any q's and I'd be happy to help.

This week's dental story - my 7 year old daughter had 4 molars removed this week under GA in hospital. She has some odd condition which meant that these teeth (which are adult teeth) had to be removed and her two front ones show some signs of decay. Apparently this is linked to something that happened when she was in the womb.

I try to encourage her to brush regularly as I did not brush enough when i was young and have just about paid the price for it now.

I have a few more dental stories but they would spoil your evening!

Tragically yes.........but took a route that paid as little as possible :( I am arguably the highest qualified dentist in Cumbria but earn at least 34 grand a year less than the average standard NHS dentist in high street practice.....

I have worked in Minnesota and UNC.........now that would have been good money if I would have stuck at it :)
