Also ...those are crap! Cheap alloy, pretty pale anodization (no rich/vibrant colors) and also the shape of those cages are different to the originals.

I in fact do have them lying on my workbench - but I dont have anybody to roll and fold them (yet).

so did this copied version sell as flat, and then you would have to manually roll them up in shape? wondering if even the original Ringle back then sold in this format? thanks

These were made, tooled, etc some 13 years ago.
Iirc. these were specifically made not the same, so people knew they are not originals

I quote "The_Sellution" from that thread. I guess he is/was the seller: "Better quality material and finish than the originals " ...

That dude is a serious comedian.

I had several of those in my hands over the past 5 years. And honestly - they looked like the cheapest crap ever! Calling the finish "better" than the original is a serious insult.

I know a hell lot about anodizing now - and believe me, they were shaite and the colors pale compared to the original!

I bought some a few yrs back from an ebay shop. They looked the same but were too narrow to accept a normal bottle even when opened as much as they could.
