I've got these up in the road FS section but not heard a peep out of those chaps. I wondered if these very cool road wheels might appeal to you guys as Ringle were more mtb orientated I suppose................
I've had these wheels for a couple of years now, but with an ever increasing fleet of mountain bike projects and a finite amount of space, I've decided to let them go.
The wheels are built using black Ringle Bubba Hubz (road spacing) in as new condition and Campagnolo Omega Hardox rims for tubular tyres, the front is radially laced. They are in superb condition, front rim shows almost no wear and the rear only a slight amount to the anodising. The wheels could be fitted with a 6/7/8 speed freewheel, or a HED chainline fixer and single cog for some very bling ss wheels.
The only negative I can say about these wheels is that one of the axle spacers was misplaced at some point in their life so I have had a new one machined by retrobike's own Ringle Guru, elite504. This could pass as a factory part, but instead of being black like the rest of the hub it is naked alu.
I would like £150 Ono posted for these lovely wheels, proper photos will be posted later if I get chance, possibly in the morning if not. In the mean time I can email some from my phone if you pm me your email address!
