So as i've been digging around in the bike cave recently i've unearthed these cave dwellers which have been buried forever.
I may aswell move them on because i have a wheel size box taking up room and these will all fit into it.
I'll grade them from Excellent to let your kids use them as hula hoops, you'll understand the hula hoop bit when you see the Citron 517's, you'll just say why did someone do that to them when they were perfectly fine
So this is what you get:
Execellent Category:
32 Hole Mavic 217 next to no wear.
36 Hole Weinmann double wall Zac 2000 next to no wear.
Good Category:
Pair of 32 hole Mavic 231's loads of life in them, one is for presta the other is for schreider valves.
32 Hole Mavic 232 lots of life left.
Pair of 36 hole Saracen branded Wolber rims loads of life in them.
Decent Usable Category:
32 Hole Araya RM17's there's wear to them and don't look that bad but with them being concave from new which makes them look worn anyways in my eyes it's hard to say, class them as good for your pub bike.
Pair of 32 Hole Saracen branded Wolber rims with a good amount left on the rims BUT one of them needs to be straightened, there's a photo of the two together to show the gap when there next to eachother.
The Hula Hoops For The Kids Category (or for a skinny person who likes hula hooping) :
Pair of 36 hole Citron Mavic 517 Sups
As you can see someone tried to enlarge the valve holes by drilling by the looks of it and got it badly wrong, check the photos.
My guess is they did the first rim by drilling from the top and took out part of the rim on the inside. So not wanting that to happen again decided to drill from the inside of the rim and promptly blew the top of the rim to pieces. I wouldn't care but there's quite a bit left on the rims but now sadly only good for hula hooping
Pricewise for the lot £60 and £15 for postage Parcelforce 24.
