The ups and downs of my 'career' has meant contractions and expansions of the fleet as money was needed.

The most missed was this £15 tip find bargain from 2011

file.php

It came after this little gem - little as in way too small

So enter Mike Muz 67 and:

Its just the right size, the right material and, as luck would have it, I have all the parts to build it into a perfectly ordinary MTB that rides really, really well.

What is it? Obviously the same frame as the earlier, smaller one, I like the paint job on it!

These were Saracen built 'high end' steel frames for a special order that seemingly got canceled. They then appeared on ebay as frames only in this interesting colourway - World Cup stripes/ blue white but with the Saracen 'S' filled in.

All around 6 years ago.

They were one down from the wishbone 853 frames but are still very light and twangy, a sort of last blast of steel before it all went off into other materials.

Here you go, the Univega kindly donated the almost perfect colour matched forks to the cause.

LX with a sprinkling of XT and LGF fairy dust.

Built for comfort rather than speed, seatpost is not staying.
