I strike a compromise. So long as the brand existed since the 90s, new stuff is okay.
Otherwise, it looks out of place.

I prefer modern brakes.

I like the fact that there is demand for old 'correct' parts, I can make money on stuff I don't want or need and put it towards more bikes or parts I do want or need.
