frame repairs, refurbishing, decals, welding, 8-axle cnc machine

I'm based in South East London.
I will build wheels for beer.
For beer and cake I will teach you how to build your own wheels.

I can also show you where the good trails to ride in Moab (Ut), Breckenridge, Fruita, Crested Butte, Aspen and a couple of other places in Co are. This information is free, but guided tours will cost my flight and accommodation.

It would need a lot of beer and cake to teach me building wheels .

actually I can build them , it is truing them which does my heading .

Agony uncle !!

well i was going to volunteer to become the sites agony uncle !! it could be a regular feature, things like should i fit the ringle or the mc1 ? the cooks or the tunes ?

Aww go on then. . . After much deliberation, go on then, put me down for manual machining. . . BUT, it is £30 p/h. We can run with CNC too but setting up a CNC us usually only worth it for 50 plus parts. Sorry to put caveats on engaging in the work- but having tens of thousands invested in machines and software and stuff, unfortunately it does have to pay for itself somehow. . . Always happy to help though on retro MTB, Road, BMX, and motorcycle stuff (£100+ p/h for stinky car stuff though  ).
I'm on the surrey hants borders, but more than happy to deal with parts in the post, fag packet sketches and paypal payment.

I suppose i can build disc drives for a few beers, built three now and have the discdrive cat for scanning if anyone needs it,just PM me

Lighters.....10 for a pound!!! Sorry, just joking....
This sounds like a v good idea!!
Any machinists up North?

mad el
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Advantages are pretty clear - trusted individual, good regular work (I guess), helping community out etc.

If anyone on here wants to become a preferred supplier for any of these services then get in touch and we can make a it a sticky thread.

I'm personally a little stuck as I need quite a few of the above: especially spraying and also anodisers.

Remember these are paying services so charge what you feel is right for the job.

You can add me to the wheel building section. I build wheels at the shop I work for. I also may be able to help with the anodising as well. I'll have to ask my boss at work as he knows someone who does it. My boss is also into old school BMXs and has had several sets of Renthal bars re-anodised. :)
