retro reading - "The Mountain Biking Handbook"!!!
Having a clear out of old books I found this, and thought it might be of interest to someone on here. "The Mountain Biking Handbook" by Barry Ricketts, published in 1988. In VGC, the only 'flaw' is a dedication to me from whoever gave it to me - "Happy christmas 1990" inside the front cover!
Lots of retro info and photos from the times when deore XT 7s with biopace was modern, U-brakes were considered top equipment, and "pushing the limits" meant riding over logpiles!
