Title says it all. Retro bikes being used for loaded touring, please add yours...

I start with a couple:

Specialized Hardrock '92 in the mountains north of Madrid (Spain) in winter



Bergamont '93 and Cycle Wolf '96 (both German brands) in Cuba



(notice the GIGANTIC stem on the blue bike, only way for my wife to tour comfortably on an old mtb due to the long top tubes and stems typical of the time)

What a great topic. Here's mine touring in Cornwall. I found the frame hanging from the rafters in a donky shed in Spain. Built up from the parts bin after spraying with rattle cans [at least nobody tried to steal it].

Titiritero, that's a serious trip to go the the Himalayas! :shock:
The Dawes tandem is great fun, and allows me to do more ambitious trips with my sons. It is also wonderful for people coming up to talk to us, especially in France.
We are planning a family trip along the Rhine next year.
