I really miss my D. It was an aquired taste to drive and an absolute bastard to work on that caused more than one dent in its bodywork. Great cars, but would not have another. A mint metalic brown SM on the other hand........

Ultimate bike transporter , for me has to be Austin A35 pickup or van .

This would be my choice. Room for twenty bikes in the back and a couple of sportscars up top for tooling around in.

The owner turned down £20 million for it from a Japanese Collector last year :shock:

I am sure i read an article somewhere in the past about that transporter being restored .

It had lain derelict in a field somewhere in Scotland for years .

Love the Sprite on the roof .

number plate is from le mans , maybe it is a former race car .

seriously there are 1000s of those rusting away in french farmer fields .

Being a non car person I find any 4 wheeled transport better than the train. BITD we either went in the local shop rascal van or 1968 Beetle camper. those were the days.
