Replacement pads for Modolo brakes?

I have a pair very similar to these pictured (ALX 90), but the "sinterized" pads like eating rims, so I'd prefer to swap them for something a little less aggressive!

Can anyone point me in the direction of some suitable replacement blocks? I've tried replacement shoes and blocks, but they don't fit, due to design of the calipers and in any case, the shoes are pretty funky, so I'd like to keep them.

So I take it you want to be able to keep the bit that bolts on and just replace the friction lining.

Yes ideally - but it looks like changing them is not a good idea from what I've read so far...
