Replace velocity quill stem....

I want to replace the 120 mm velocity stem on my 1996 kona cindercone with a more manageable 80 mm one. Any recommends?

With simiar looks to the velocity stem but shorter.[/i]

The velocity stems on the cheaper Konas had shorter lengths - my brother has one on his Explosif. I think his is 100mm - not sure what other lengths are available though.

I am at a loss trying to imagine a Zoom stem being similar to a Velocity! Not even close in style....

It depends on whether you need the cable hanger or not. It is that, double bar bolt and recessed expander bolt that set it apart, the cable hanger to me being the most obvious IMHO.

It all depends on how close you want it to a Velocity.....
