Hi

does anyone know a man or company that restores chain wheels ? I have a possible project with a rare chain wheel that is really sharks tooth worn out.

back in the day it was fairly common to file the sharp points flat to get a few months more use if you couldn't afford a new chain ring

Re:

I would call a local metal working shop, some of them have 3D scanners, so they can scan the chain ring, and create a new one.
A friend of mine had this done at our training workshop for a gearwheel of an old (1860s) clock.
