I picked up this project frame at our swap meet this past sunday. Couldn't pass it up. It appears to be a very early one.
Has had a hard life. Was raced and crashed, damaged and a crappy repair done. But has since been built
and ridden without issues. Has u brake bosses (my favorite) and what appears to be a 1" headtube. Up till now I
think I have only seen 1 1/8". Let me know if you have seen otherwise. Here are some before pictures as acquired.
No idea when I will be back to this thread with updates. This is way down on project list. Tell me what you think.

Your Rektek is made by Maurice Lavoie I think.
Dropout and wishbown looks like Lavoie.
What’s the serial number exactly please ?

You may be correct. Serial looks identical to this Lavoie:

I had a similar thought initially as well. but the rektek's serial number is TNT where as
Lavoie numbers start TTN. Styling and format is certainly very similar.
