Red Arrows

Living only 15 mins away from RAF Scampton we regularly see the Red Arrows training. On Valentines Day they even treated the people of Lincoln to a big love heart being made from their smoke plumes over the Cathedral.

As many plane enthusiasts will know it was the RAF Waddington International Air Show a couple of weeks ago. We live 5 minutes away from the base, so get to see a lot of the show from our garden. Bonus

They are blinking brilliant. Saw them at the Sunderland Airshow yesterday. Here's a couple of pics.

(We were in the 'funfair' entertaining our bored 7 year old at the end of a 9 hour day!)

Was at Farnborough on Saturday and they were excellent (even with the women pilot )
Great airshow and the two highlights for me were watching two Spifires chase an ME109 across a proper Battle of Britain sky and standing parallel to the end of the runway when the Vulcan took off
