Recommend me some tyres

I've had a few near slideouts using my summer tyres lately up at The lookout, bracknell forest. If anyone know's that area can you recommend me some XC tyres. Frame clearance is an issue so the thinner the better, 1.9 is prob the limit.

i had a pair of these, and would agree they dont exactly inspire confidence.

they are good for fire track and canal tow paths but that's about it. I can handle them on trails I know well but for unknown stuff in need some help to keep me on the bike!!

I might try the fire xc pro's as my mate runs them so might pinch them for a few weeks.

I ride in mixed woodland with both clay and sandy soil, loose pine needles, tree roots, off camber singletrack, steep short climbs, twisty densely wooded singletrack and after fitting the Nobby Nic's am happy to throw my bike into bends without care...previously when using Porcs, Wildgrippers or Smokes I rode like a sheep
