I've tried a MET but I just don't have a MET shaped head, hated it and it just pressed in the wrong places.

.

Does anyone? I tried one for a long time but we never got on.

I've got an Urge Enduro-matic. Very comfy and safe feeling, though not the best ventilation wise if you do a lot of hard slog climbing in the summer.

I have a Uvex XP100 shaped head

I thought I had a Met Kaos shaped head until I tried a Uvex XP100

Kaos fitted well, but the Uvex is in another league of comfort

I tried another Uvex at work, it didn't fit right at all

Shapes can vary even for the same manufacturer

Go try some on for size & shape, it's the only way to get the right helmet for you

I use a Giro Hex myself. So comfortable that I sometimes forget that I'm wearing it (almost).

I had an exodus, which i found to be very comfortable and plenty of vents. That said the £20 bell one i wear now is just as good a fit.
Maybe im just lucky :D

Thought about the fox transition hardshell. :?

After being a Bell/Giro user for well over a decade, I jumped ship to Cratoni for my own shop and use.....

Am finding you get a better quality helmet for the money (shell is moulded in rather than glued on) and they still have 1/2 price crash replacement service, which Bell/Giro no longer have.

isn't even their most expensive helmet...

But always try before you buy. Never buy a helmet online as fit/form varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.
