Recommend me a 1" headset

I am just starting out to rebuild a 1992 Chas Roberts DB, and one of the things I want to hand over to whoever resprays it, is a headset.

I am looking for a black, 1" Ahead headset, that will do the frame justice and ideally I would like it made in the UK, but I don't think that's an option.

So what are the alternatives? Obviously, top of the list for quality is Chris King, after that I just get lost in a sea of names and generic Taiwanese lookalikes.

Your recommendations please.

FSA over here. Got one on my Kona and one waiting for my 'its taking a life time to finish' build.

There seems to be a lot of different FSA headsets, I know some of the trials guys like them, but I've never really heard anything about them...but then, perhaps that's a good things.

Personally I'd go with Campagnolo Record - it's only in silver but has grease ports on the bottom race and is a thing of supreme beauty. And it's under £50! 8)

I have looked at the Campag headsets and also the Woodman Jupiter, but then I have to convince myself that a silver headset will look OK on a orange and black bike, which in my opinion, it won't.

Campag headsets always look right
As mentioned they're a lovely bit of kit, definitely my first choice 1'' er
