Modern stuff I'm afraid. Bike came with Sora 3400 brakes on it which seems a shame as rest of the groupset is 105 (5600). Now chainreaction have Ultegra 6600s for £56 and Planet X have 105 5600s for £50. Are they any other similar priced options out there, not fussed by brand. Will I notice a big difference between Sora and anything else or is it more a weight weenie thing, which I can fix by eating less cake n pies rather than getting new brakes?
