recomend me a chain tensioner

i've got a DMR job similar to the one IDB1 linked to, it worked a treat until the jockey wheel bolt loosened itself off and dropped out on me!

i've lost confidence in it now despite liberal volumes of threadlock so i am going to experiment with a ging chain device as it seems a tad studier.


It was recommended to me to set up the pull down tensioners to push up instead to give better chain wrap... the conversation is in the link below (page 2 & 3)

Thanks for all the replys, the "rohloff" looks the dogs, think that i would rather go for a push up single jockey wheel type ..... just for looks more than any thing else .......... oh and as the OP dont i get first dibs on any thing that may be surplus to use !!

Do the "cut down" mech type like the nc-17 have adjustable chain line?

And the Gusset one is quieter as it just has a roller for the chain to run through as opposed to a jockey wheel.
