Rear brake cable stop

Hi guys... I need to pick some brains...

I've finished building a bike up for my lad, but I've hit a bit of a snag. The frame has a kind of a s-bend routing for cantis that brings the cable out nicely between the 2 seat stays, but I've got V brakes on it. There isn't a cable stop on the frame to suit, so I've zip tied a longer outer cable around the top tube. It's a bodge, and it just about works, but I'm after a more elegant solution.

Any ideas?????

If you've got a round top tube and can measure the diameter, I've got some silver Acor backstops NOS. You can have one for £4 incl post.

1 1/8 and 1 1/4 if I remember right.

All the best,
