wheels swapped out for some dx/mavic 234's and fit like a stocking on a chickens leg
even swapped for some blackwall smaoke/darts and after the trick rear yoke decided it didnt want to grip a good old fashioned shimano yoke fitted.
all seems good at mo, may take it for a blast saturday morning if im aloud out to play haha

this weeks retro offering to the gods is my zinn, finally fitted some nicer grips that are lovely and comfy, seats an inch too high but ill sort that next time i ride it

These always look good with neat touches and tidy faux fillets. Are the frames any good though, in the respect that they are fairly boggo 501 on the Classic (I can't see the decals properly) do they ride any better than something more exotic tubed like the about CB which has a much more conventional construction?

I don’t think the tubing makes so much of a difference when you are riding them. Only tube set I really noticed was Columbus genius
A 501 zinn rides really well, good design, fit and alignment is the key for me

as a peace offering to upease the retro gods, heres my saracen and dynatech ogre. recently swapped the wheels and tyres on the raleigh to araya/xt/contis and i love it :mrgreen:
