I wondered if there were sources we can tap into for elastomers, and not just for RC35's. For example I saw a link to this site elsewhere and by a process of elimination thought that this might do for RC35's (the original ones).

It comes in 6" lengths which are cut-able with a saw, so I'd need two lengths for the 4 x 2" I need for one set of forks. It's 40 durometer (too soft I wonder?). If bought in a small supply the cost per set might be quite reasonable.
Anybody have any thoughts? There are many other variations which might work for other forks etc...
