Just going to get a thread set up for the slow rebuild of this Peugeot I picked up today.

No pictures yet as the light had gone by time I'd finished

So the bike - well frame and forks so far......

It is a 92/93 Peugeot optimum/optima or something like that originally in a palmaviolets colour (as told by the seller) was resprayed at bob Jackson into a ashy grey colour. Full 531 competion tubing and forks. Unknown shimano headset. Stickers from a much older Peugeot.

I also picked up the other goodies, campagnolo veloce headset, 105 brake levers and some rx100 dual pivot brakes. Dropped in my campagnolo areo seat post and honey brooks b-17

So I guess every bike needs a first plan, this is

- campagnolo rear mech,
-6/7/8 speed gearing, nice close cogs
-double up front with 42/52
-silver wheels, have a 8 speed 105 hub in the box of parts so well see where that goes, would prefer campagnolo
-no idea of bars and stem - but I think brown tape to match the brooks

Essentially make a nice retro bike to ride to work on :D
