I had one, it rode nice! Well worth some upgrades IMO, especially if it fits you.

bluetomgold its hard to know where to draw the line with upgrades lol.
I reckon it will make a nice old hack once its done though.
I haven't ridden it yet to see if its the right size. If its too small, ill save it for my daughter if she gets the retro bug when she's older.

I know what you mean... upgrade the broken bits, and leave the rest.

Legrandefromage if you look at the pic of the changers/levers what year would you say it is?
Also, the BB sizes you gave me, are they squared taper sealed BBs?
Before i order one...

BB is 68mm sealed, the Raleigh will have normal threads too

Frame is Reynolds 501'All Terrain' cro-mo frame, 500 uses hi-ten back end
