Picked up the Royal. It is dirty and oily, but its in fantastic condition. The only non original parts are the tyres. It came with a bill of sale from Pearson's. Also came with it's craftsman certificate.
A couple of details are different to my other 531 Royal. RX100 7 speed HG hubs instead of 105 6 speed UG. Galvanized spokes
400LX mechs instead of Exage trail. 500LX chainset instead of Exage.
A very nice bicycle, I'm pleased. Jo not so much she still drove to pick it up with me though.

Pearson's you day? The oldest bike shop in the world and run by x2 brothers who I know.

Hope Jo has got to work on the galvanised spokes already! With the right scourer (NOT scouser!!!) and correct technique I expect them to look like stainless by the time she's finished!
