The time has come to sell my Raleigh Record Ace. It has 853 Retnolds tubing and is gold in colour. It runs very smoothly and can keep up with modern bikes/ much younger riders.
It deviates from standard in that my father had flat bars fitted and mtb type shimano gear levers fitted. His back was giving out. Unfortunately the drop bars were disposed of by the shop before i became aware of their loss. It does however make it into a fast hybrid machine as well as more comfortable to ride if you suffer back pain issues. I still have the brown suede seat to help reytn it to standard if that is your wish..please contact me If interested thanks JCG
