Raleigh Ravine Fitting Suspension Forks.

Hi everyone. I have got a Raleigh Ravine and it's the small frame, it is 15.5" I think.
I would like to fit period correct front suspension forks. I have been looking and I think it needs the 1 1/8 forks.
As the steerer is threaded does this mean I need forks from a bike with the exact same size frame? thanks.

Yeah, you'll need the correct length steerer. Other option is to replace the headset and go threadless?

Thanks Brocklanders, I really wanted to keep it original.
Can I get threadless forks but keep the cantilever brakes?
Don't want a disc mount on the forks.

These are very close to fitting but don't look very good.

Have been looking and it's a case of slim to none of finding the forks I want in the correct length threaded steerer. So will be looking for threadless.
You was correct Brocklanders.
One thing though are the ones I want definitely 1 1/8

I found myself only using this bike for light stuff and some road so didn't bother
