You've got one with the addition of cantilever and shifter bosses. Looks like you have side window long point lugs so same frame as the Record Ace and the Classic which has the additional chrome fork and rear triangle. Have you got the frame number?

Spoken to the seller (haven't been able to collect the bike yet)
He says the bike belonged to a friend of his father's who's recently passed so not much info on the bike.
He did send over a picture of the BB shell I asked for but it's not that clear.
Im pleased to see it's at least got a W serial number. The nice side window head lugs and fluted rear stays suggested RA but the canti and shifter bosses threw me out abit.
It is what it is I suppose. I've not over paid for it considering it's hopefully a full 531 frame and fork with some decent parts.
The updates to the frame may detract from its value slightly but as long as it's well executed it should be fine.
It confirms that if it's had the extra parts fitted it must have been repainted at the same time so I no longer have to search for red bikes that fit the build.
