Raleigh Randonneur. Optimistically Priced; To Say The Least!

Got to be worth a quarter of the asking price... maybe

As a shop specialising in steel, touring and functional bikes
(as if that should be a speciality🤣, but the boomtime mammal rarely rides for function, and I'm told his pockets are full of loose cash😉)
I would price this under 500 with fatter tyres and bar end shifters.

Nobody buying a bike retail wants toeclips and dt shifters.

If it additionally had STIs, and a suitable short/shallow bar and a shorter stem, it might be ok approaching 600.

We sold an ultragal tigged 653 the other day like that at that price.
Fantastic bike, modern equivalent ride quality with discs 1500+

You can always get lucky though -

Customers sometimes show us bikes they've bought for 3x their real market value.

Brand, paintjob and the vendor's glib gab almost always a factor🙄
