For sale with regret and only because its too small for me.
So its a 1988 series 1.
54cm (21.5") 531 frame and forks lightweight unit bike. No dings or dents. Paint is OK and perfectly usable but its in survivor condition so has some rust worms showing through (on top tube) and areas of missing paint (chainstay and by the RH shifter) but has character from Raleigh's heyday.
Mostly 105 group, brakes, front and rear mechs and shifters are all 105, chainset is 600 tri colour (lovely and like new with round 42/52 rings) this is all in great condition apart from the lever hoods that are scruffy. Bb is a new un24. Wheels are rx100 rear hub with a mavic 192 neo rim (front and rear rims don't match perfectly but aren't badffrom a distance), front is a c record hub and mavic open 4cd rim both run straight and true and have loads of life left, cassette is an 11-24 hyperglide 7s and almost new, chain is a tesco one but only done about 70 miles. Seat is a yellow turbo. SR laprade fluted seat post, 3ttt stem and SR modolo bars, bar tape is yellow and a bit scruffy. Cables work well but are not tidy. No pedals supplied. Tyres are scwalbe blizzards is blue and they suit it really well. I will be happy to take some more close ups for any buyer.
Frame is the tri/training geo frame and has the mounts and clearance for guards so mill make a great winter bike.
Now the nitty gritty price is £200 collected or £225 delivered. Payment will be cash or PayPal (either gift or buyer paying the fees).

Re: Raleigh Quadra

If you feel I'm way off with the price feel free to make an offer I can only say no :).

Pictures?

Price is optimistic but not unrealistic depending on condition....

They were linked in my sig but I've added them directly to this thread now (easier to do on the PC than tablet where I wrote the original ad).
I wondered if it was a bit optimistic but unfortunately the two bikes I am interested in will also set me back around this price and both are similar spec and condition. It's a shame as neither have the draw for me that the Quadra does, but they'd both fit and this doesn't. Like I said i'd be willing to consider reasonable offers though.

Carl.
