Raleigh Hybrid

Hey, as mentioned in my welcome post ive just got myself an old raleigh hybrid, however I am not aware of the model name and would like to know, i geuss here would be a good place to find out.


The frame number is 8819061 and located on the opposite side to the front mech. My closest geuss is the mustang. Will get a pic up after 3 more posts....

That's a rare reverse Raleigh. Amazing.

My best explanation for that could be a fail clean up attempt. I do still think this is a raleigh as it has an sr stem, leech brakes, dnp shifters and Sachs Huret front and rear derailleurs

Yours is an early team edition based on the Mustang (black and white one). The Cobra is a catalogue (the littlewoods group) variant of the Mustang.

Also it's a mountain or all terrain bike not a hybrid.
