Raleigh Experts Frame ID

Just wondered if there are any Raleigh SBDU experts on the forum. I recently purchased a Raleigh 753 with the serial DC 1 88. I'm assuming this is the rider initials and the year of manufacture, but I can't find any domestic Raleigh riders or Raleigh Castorama riders whose name fits? Could be a team manager, or a frame builder instead?

A bit of a long shot, Australian cyclist Danny Clark was riding for Panasonic-isostar in 1988 could it have been built for him ?

Photos of the frame would help I thought the later Panasonic non Raleigh sponsored frames were made in Japan by Panasonic..?
