Raleigh Dynatech 405ti Corsa; what to do?

I'm biased towards Raleigh, but I like it

The strip down began this weekend and I am almost ready to start selecting and cleaning components to fit on it.
Does anyone know what the correct seatpost diameter is for a 1994 Dynatech road bike?

Usually 27.2mm maybe 27.0mm

Thanks. The post it came with measures between 27.9 -27mm by my digital calipers so looks like it is correct.
But it seemed quite a tight interference fit. Maybe it will loosen up when I clean the inside of the seat tube and the seat post itself?
As it is really quite long for the frame I may see if I have another 27mm seatpost in my spares pile to try.

Anytime I don't think they did 27.4mm so hopefully just crude.
