Raleigh Bomber

Hi People.

I have potentially obtained an old looking Raleigh bike with the characteristics of what looks to be a 1981 Raleigh Bomber bike, it is what looks to be a single speed.

I was just after getting some advice as to whether its worth my while copping this bike for something like £50 or around that mark.

It doesn't appear to be in the best condition at a quick glance, i.e no decals and minimal rust. But i saw the frame shape and the Raleigh name and thought i would give it some investigation. There seems to be a demand for original parts, so really wondering if its worth my while to grab it and flip it for a quick profit, or, buy it and break it down for parts.

Also there was a similar looking bike; Emmelle 12 speed tornado or something similar.

I would appreciate any advice or guidance in this area.

Re:

It all depends on condition, but from what you describe I'd think £50 is about all it would be worth at the moment.

There’s been a few come through over the years but they attract little attention other than a passing nostalgic nod to the 1980’s

It’s nots an MTB and not aRoad bike either so it has no natural home

Price wise - £50 max
