Radio interview the other day said its just a bit of fun,

I say
NO, WE ARE SICK OF LISTENING TO SIMON COWELS CRAP, THIS WHAT REAL PEOPLE THINK OF YOUR "TALENT" SHOWS, WE WILL NOT BE FORCE FED THIS CRAP ANYMORE!

Not that I'm bitter at all

I liked his Tellytubbies single.

im for it but wont buy a copy, as i only bought the album 15 years ago. :D

I've been told that people outside of the UK are creating UK itunes accounts so they can add to the tally

I've been a fan of Rage for years, I used to DH to them on my walkman :)

I don't mind spending 99p if it stops Cowel. Think I'm just not a fan of anything like Xfactors got talent on Ice in the Jungle

You don't even have to spend 99p, (I know some folk on here prefer a budget buy) :)

Amazon sell the track fro 29p and after some arguments about these sales counting I contacted the Official Chart (specifically the woman who wrote the rules) and she said so long as Amazon are paying Sony more than the PPD (in this case 32p) they don't care what it sells for. Amazon sell at a loss to drive traffic to their site where people will see adverts or buy something else, but their sales do count towards the chart. :)

PS also love Mumford and Sons, a definite "retro" feel ;)

Does anyone remember the time they managed to get on Newsnight Review?

It was the early nineties, and the BBC still used to blank out swearwords.

you I won't do what you tell me
you I won't do what you tell me
you I won't do what you tell me
you I won't do what you tell me
mother...

I've fond memories of the song (more to the point the time it came out), and I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment behind it, but I think it would be sad if this particular song was no. 1 in the Christmas chart.

Just been playing live on BBC Radio five live!!

That was until the lines 'f**k you I wont do what you tell me' and they promptly cut them off!! LOL

Bought mine Sunday morning. Civic duty complete.

I still remember the top 40 show when Bruno Brookes played the proper version by accident. Cue several hundred complaints. Ah the nice cuddly BBC...

What did the twits at the BBC expect to happen?

Would you tell a band not to swear on a track that said "F*ck you, I won't do what you tell me!"?
