You'd need to have the top tube cut off at the headtube, at the seat stays and then removed from the seat tube (which pierces the TT), then have the new tube brazed on and the whole thing resprayed. You can just see the price mounting up. That's not an easy job and will cost a fair bit, certainly not as easy as a standard frames TT replacement. Had a similarly complex tube done on my Yeti and it cost plenty (far more than I ever intended as it turned out to be a far more complex job).

On the plus front there are loads of experts on here who will be able to repair that or get a friend (who is a rocket scientist) to do it no problem using tools from their sheds and kitchens, so I reckon you should sell it to them and put the money on a new frame that's not broken.

Always a shame when an old friend dies, but the great thing is you can buy exciting new friends on eBay.
