Interesting. Lots of modern stuff, which to be honest, passes me by. Far too many 4-6k cycles.
The stands that really interested me were Condor and Paulus Quiros.
Condor, I think you all know, however:
Paulus Quiros, if you ever want a bike/frameset built, look to these guys. Stunning, beautifully produced frames. There was a blue number and the attention to detail was fantasic. The lines said "I will go fast effortlessly" but the overall effect was something that you would keep and pass on to your children.
The guy, Jose Quiros, was a really nice guy to talk to. The passion he has for steel and his craft is very evident, and so is his desire to ride! When I asked the price of the Blue bike in question, which I admit felt wrong to do so, I was actually very suprised at the answer in a good way!
For me this was best in show and very VERY much in keeping with the thread on here regarding what makes a classic.
I hope you get a chance to see one in the flesh...
