Quadra 21R's elastomers or springs?

Forks are siezed and don't move, haven't stripped them down yet, but I assume the elastomers have had it.
Anyone know where to get replacement elastomer's for the forks, or have any experience of the spring kits that are available from the US.

Cheers

Martin..

They are probably siezed from lack of lubrication. That happened a few times with mine. The first time water got inside and created hydrauilic lock. My Lbs removed the screws and forced penetrating oil inside, and eventually got them apart. A good cleaning and relube and they were better than new. When they got sticky again, I cleaned and regreased myself.

If the elastomers are still good, relube them with synthetic grease, not petrroleum based. The petroleum based greases deteriorate the urethane.

Mine used to do that a lot. Used Silkolene RG500 grease, a lot cheaper than RockShox own stuff. I still have the forks & a bag of various elastomers if anyone's interested. (they came off a Bontrager Privateer, so I understand crown maybe KB's own spec.)
