Purple Paul Rear Derailleur

If you are 1***3 it's because your brother is selling a purple paul derailleur and has agreed to give you half if the price tops 1k :)
Yet people fall for this craziness everytime.
Definitely only for garage queens. I bought a Pace which had one on. Took it for a muddy ride in the Trough of Bowland, feckin' hopeless. Also sold a purple one back in 2013 for a lot less. That's retro inflation for ya

I have a rear MKII Proshift on a Ti FAT. Total POS but looks cool AF. The Proshift front works great though.

I thought the Proshift worked ok! (but I’m used to Campag so probably easily pleased).
Good to hear about the front mech. It’s even cooler than the rear I reckon, - so intricate. Nicer than Paul’s version and works better too (?)

Yeah, they work ‘ok’ on friction and I have tried 3. The fronts are superb and beautifully made, as are the rears but its got an important job to do.

Haven’t tried my front yet. The plan is to partner it with an LMDS rear using a Proshift left shifter, as I’m not keen on the White’s front spool-system.
Have you tried the shifters M-Power?

Not the LMDS, beautiful though they are i’m a fan of trusty thumbies. The Proshift v brakes were pretty but too fragile.
