Purple Paul Rear Derailleur

If you are 1***3 it's because your brother is selling a purple paul derailleur and has agreed to give you half if the price tops 1k :)
that is exactly the ONLY reason it makes sense, which then brings me to my next ebay question... why does anyone bother with a reserve ;)

I started using gixen to snipe, less for strategy and more because i could test out buyers remorse. Step one, Input a gixen bid. Step two, immediately regret it. Step three, cancel the gixen bid :)

But i guess i also have a pretty good idea of what I'm willing to fork out for something, but also know i can be tempted...

It's just way less stress

I was just about to comment on that. This is why I like to see bidding history.

Is the figure in brackets the amount of feedback? If yes then it looks like a throwaway Ebay account, created specifically to push the price up on that one item.

Yup

Definitely only for garage queens. I bought a Pace which had one on. Took it for a muddy ride in the Trough of Bowland, feckin' hopeless. Also sold a purple one back in 2013 for a lot less. That's retro inflation for ya
