Purple Muddy Fox on eBay UK

Looks in good nick (pretty large though). Not sure of model but looks 88-ish given the chain-stay mounted U-brake.

Anyone know what model this is? (can't seem to locate it in any of the online catalogues) - and not sure what tubeset the frame is so not sure if it's worth a punt.

It's an '89 Seeker (you have the black/red crackle Courier Comp right?) with a rare U-brake rather than the Cantis that most came with that year, I guess they were using up the stock of frames from the previous year. Incidentally my mate has just bought an '89 Courier comp from ebay that has a u-brake rather than cantis.

Thanks, Carl. So it is! I just checked the '89 Catalogue on the site - I was confused by the U-Brake.

I do have the black/red crackle Courier Comp - it's been put on a back burner at the moment as the seatpost is stuck in it - I've tried everything - lots of dismantling fluid, wacking it etc. etc. all to no avail and the post is all the way in. Finally took it to my mates workshop as he has a vice, and still didn't budge - and got too scared as the frame was starting to flex!

Don't want to use caustic soda as the paint is pretty good so looks like I need to search out an engineering works ton drill it out for me. However, might have a punt on this Seeker, as looks in better nick than my Courier Comp and one up in the range (and always quite fancied a U-Brake in the stable).

I fancy a u-braked one as well, I may be tempted to take this CC off my mate as he bought two foxes last weekend (the CC and a '90 Pathfinder) and only paid £36 for the CC.
