PSA: DeKerf TeamST on Orcas Island, Washington state, USA

I was on vacation and saw this frame hanging in a bike shop that sells new and used stuff. It appears to be a 1999(?) DeKerf Team ST. SN# DEK1767

I got the impression he would sell it cheap (it was me who pointed out it had Ti stays), but the guy at the shop at the time wasn't the owner, so I'm not entirely sure of the price or the backstory. It's at Wildlife Cycles, in East Sound.

There's a fair bit of chain suck scraping/gouging on the chainstay, but otherwise it seemed completely sound, free of cracks, dents, etc. I thought someone here might be interested. I've got a few more pics, pm me and I can email them to you.

I think it was in the 17.5" neighborhood size-wise, sorry I don't know for sure.

These are lovely frames, building into what Mike Ferrentino called "The best handling bike in the World".
The problem is they have a tendency to crack around the steel/ti chainstay joint. I'm not sure whether Dekerf still fixes them for free, but once fixed they stay fixed! Postage to and from Europe makes it an expensive hit here, but Seattle's just next door, right?
