Proshift/Precision Billet CNC Aluminium FRONT as well now!

Thanks to everyone who PM'd me, my apologies for not replying to you all individually but I was literally swamped by them this evening.

Both the Front and the munched up rear have now been sold, I only wish I had more of them hiding in the shed for the sake of your builds (and my bank balance!), didnt realise they would be so sought after.

Happy trails everyone!
Matt

Dear Matt,

i am a strong believer of fair and honest trading.

i'll have the front then

i do not say it is not possible but please be so kind to show me that the new owner was faster in informing you that he want's it.
I clearly stated yesterday within 2 minutes after you informed us that you have a front mech that i would take the front.
I assume that you are a man of your word and inform me accordingly

if am i wrong i applogize,..but if i am right i hope you will do what you should do.

kindest regards,

Bas

The mech was sold to the another forum member who had already engaged me in discussions via PM .

I believe in fair trading too and I'm sorry you missed out but I'm not going to get into an interrogation over this.

Thanks everyone for your interest, obviously this was a very popular and sought after thing to be selling.

Matt

I would agree that Defiant requested the front, yesterday. If I missed out because of this then fair enough. I believe I was first to dib the rear today though. The fact that they both went elsewhere without any posts on the thread seems a bit unfair ?

Come on guys, it's the sellers right to sell to whoever he wants and for whatever reason, just because you post on here doesn't mean others haven't PM'ed and doesn't give anyone the right to demand the seller explain himself.
'Dibs' are a meaningless bit of nonsense, an items only yours if and when it arrives on your doormat (as I have found out many times)

You have to take the rough with the smooth, but it always hurts more when it was a cheap deal, maybe the person who pm'ed actually offered nearer the proper price?

Right this is it, last post, no more.

I sold to the first person who made contact, which was via PM, there were plenty of PM's from people who didn't even post in the thread.

I am sorry you missed out but fighting over it now is not going to change anything, maybe next time i'll state in my FS ads that contact must be through the thread first if you wnat dibs rather then PM.

thank you all for your interest but I'm beginning to feel harassed now. Fair selling is one thing but complaining via PMs and in the thread because you didn't get it is quite another.

I thought that this would be a good place to offer my retro kit, to people who might use it and be grateful rather than simply going the e-bay route.

fair enough,..
now close it, up to the next one

Fair enough fella, no probs here. I'm sure I was slow off the mark again anyway.

Incidentally what is the 'etiquette' regarding making posts here or sending PMs without reference in the thread, as that seems to be what has caused the confusion here, or isn't there any.
