Project Pace (RC100)

Well ive been pestering him since i got hold of the Pace myself, its proving to be a nightmare for him apparently as theyre a bit more tricky than your usual decals, these will have to be screen printed aswell.

 but Gil_M is my decal hero!... nooooo!

I've just stripped the bike down as far as I can at the moment, just the cranks, headset cups & rear brake left on.

Cranks are welded in place & the rear break is threaded through the hose guides so will need draining in order to remove...seriously not a good idea in a 2nd floor appartment with wooden floors!

Might drop it off at my LBS tomorrow and let them remove the last bits, in the past theyve done similar for free, however I doubt they can remove the tacs on the cranks.

Gil's working on them,he hasnt failed yet.

Put a load of kitchen roll at the cable end and undo it,those guides will probably have to come off anyway if youre going to do anything with the frame colour.

well I did it, still went everywhere but managed to keep the everywhere confined to the large piece of cardboard im working on.

Oh I'll take those thumbies you have forsale btw if you havnt checked your other thread yet.

Ok mate pm'd ya.

Youre lucky to have all those cable guides in place, most bikes ive seen for sale on ebay have got some broken/missing.Im having to pay big money to have some made for mine as ive been unable to find any suppliers of them. :(

Cannondales from around '89 or '90 used similar cable guides. Might be worth finding out from some 'Dale enthusiasts?
