I was given a wired version of the aldi cycle computer from my gaffer when he went wireless but i've got no instructions & no way of making any of the info accurate.

could someone give me a clue as to how to

a) reset & erase all data
b) put in my tire measurement
c) what tyre measurement do i use? (i was told its the circumference of the rim + wheel but I run the same tyres as the boss & didn't change it but the speed readings are well out according to my estimations & info from the phone gps.)

thanks.

Don't have a Aldi comp but surely it would work like the rest, wee hole or pin on the back, push it in to erase everything stored.

fair enough - what about the wheel measurements?

last time i had a cycle computer i was about 12!!

Put a chalk mark on the tyre and make sure this part of the tyre touches the ground. Mark the floor where the tyre touches and then roll the bike forward until the tyre is in the same spot again and mark the floor in the same way. Measuring between the two marks will give you the circumference, you could be slightly more accurate by doing more revolutions and dividing by that number.

Hope this is helpful rather than confusing :) .
